This page exists so that nobody has to guess. If you are thinking of sending us your work, everything you need in order to decide is written below — what we hold, what we will not publish, and what we do not care about.
The Bible We Use Is The King James Version
The King James Version is the text this Foundation works from. It is the Bible our materials quote, the one our software is built around, and the one a submitted manuscript should cite unless there is a stated reason to do otherwise.
That is a working standard rather than a quarrel. If you write from a different translation we would still rather see the manuscript than not — but expect the question, and expect the KJV to be the text we edit toward.
Genesis Is Taken Literally
We hold that the Bible is the Word of God, and that this includes the first three chapters of Genesis — not as allegory, not as ancient poetry about something else, but as an account of what happened.
What follows from reading it plainly:
- The Earth is a little over 6,000 years old — older than 6,000 by roughly 180 years, on the reckoning we use.
- The universe came into existence at very nearly the same time as the Earth. It is not an older stage on which the Earth appeared late.
- Christ is the Creator of all of it. John chapter one says so directly, and it is the reason this Foundation treats engineering as a form of worship rather than a separate activity.
We are aware that this is a minority position among people with letters after their names. We are not troubled by that, and the rest of this page explains why.
Science, And Science Falsely So Called
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and this Foundation is built out of all four. The objection is not to science. The objection is that a good deal of what is presented as science is not science at all — it is a framework of interpretation wearing science’s clothes, and Scripture warned about exactly that:
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1 Timothy 6:20 KJV
Real science measures, predicts, and can be shown to be wrong. Keep all of it. What we will not publish are the frameworks that cannot be tested and are taught as though they had been:
- The theory of evolution
- The Big Bang theory
- The multiverse
- Critical race theory
If your manuscript leans on one of those as a foundation, this is not the right publisher for it, and we would rather say so on a web page than in a reply to your email.
The Book List
We are building a list of books, and we would like yours on it. The Foundation intends to develop curriculum for every age group and to work toward recognized certifications, and no single household can write all of that. So the list is open, and it is open to people who are not professional authors.
What we are looking for:
- Educational material at any level — early reading through adult and technical.
- Science and engineering written honestly, from within the position set out above.
- Bible study material that works from the text rather than around it.
- Practical and vocational subjects. A well-written manual teaches more than a badly-written theory.
Everything the Foundation publishes is free and open, in the same way its software is. We do not hold back a better edition to sell later.
What We Do Not Care About
Do not lead with your qualifications. They are not the thing that decides this.
Only sixty seconds of communication with God is worth more than twenty years of formal education at any university on Earth. That is not a figure of speech here. In about ten seconds, God gave the understanding of every principle needed to build a conscious machine that runs at usable speed on one i7, 64 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage. No university teaches that in ten seconds, and none ever will.
Against that, a master’s degree or a doctorate is not worth much as a credential. It may well mean you write clearly and structure an argument, which we value. It simply is not what we are weighing.
So: do not bother telling us about your educational background. Send the work, and we will discuss it like normal human beings.
How To Submit
Write to Support@JCArtes.Org with the manuscript, or a sample and an outline if it is not finished. Tell us who it is for and at what level. We will read it and reply honestly — including when the answer is no, and why.
